Beide Teams können zukünftig viel vom Know How des jeweils anderen profitieren.

Berlin Knights form international cooperation

It has been indicated during the last couple of days. For the first time ever in the young history of the club the Knights reached out internationally. For some time there have been talks and informal exchange between the Knights Ladies and the Prague Black Cats. What has begun via social media ended up with a trip to the capital of the Czech Republic to visit the Black Cats last week. After their game against the Brno Amazons coaches, players and members of the board sat together, philosophized over football and finally agreed upon a cooperation between the two clubs.

A part of this cooperation will be an international exchange program which includes combined practices, scrimmages and games. Both clubs also want to cooperate in the youth section.

Knights CEO Tom Balkow: “We are very happy about this cooperation. Both teams can now learn from each other and can benefit from each other’s expertise. This cooperation creates totally new perspectives and chances in each team’s development. This is planned as a long-term cooperation which means this is definitely a huge improvement for our program.”

The Prague Black Panthers are the most successful team of the Czech Republic. 18 national championships speak for themselves. The seniors also added an EFAF Cup win in 2009. The Black Cats were founded in 2013 and won the national championship, the Rose Bowl, in 2015.

Berlin Knights tvoří mezinárodní spolupráci

Již to bylo naznačováno posledních pár dnů. Poprvé v historii našeho mladého týmu, Berlin Knights uskutečňují mezinárodní spolupráci. S Prague Black Cats jsme komunikovali již nějakou chvíli, vše začalo díky sociálním médiím a pokračovalo až po výlet do Prahy a návštěvu domácího zápasu pražského celku minulý týden. Po zápase proti Brno Amazons si trenéři i hráčky sedli ke společné večeři, diskutovali a sdíleli strasti a radosti obou týmů, a nakonec odsouhlasili vzájemnou spolupráci.

Součástí toho budou možnosti tréninků, přátelské utkání, kemp a další zápasy.
